“From the Darkness to the Light” is the experience in many lives transformed by God’s intervention, causing them to begin “Changing Tracks.” Although they come from different backgrounds and their conversions have taken place among differing circumstances, they all give thanks to Jesus Christ for having come to find them. They thank Him for having given meaning to their lives, for curing their deep wounds, for giving them happiness and for filling them with love. Come on board this train and let yourself be guided by their stories so that you can also begin “Changing Tracks.”

Caroline Molan

Discover the story of Caroline Molan. In her teens she tried to fit in, like all teenagers, and this made her depart from God. Questions like these lingered in her mind: What's after death? Where are we going? In her college days, Caroline went to parties and looked for a man to marry and have children with, but her relationships were not chaste. When she moved to Cahir and started working as a veterinarian, Caroline met Tom, with whom she hits it off from the start. Reading the book I Want to Go to Heaven the Moment I Die, by Fr Thaddeus Doyle, made Caroline start to get closer to God again. Find out how her story ends in “Changing Tracks.”

Patrick O'Shea

Patrick O'Shea grew up in a Catholic house but never made the faith something personal. When he was 20, Patrick was in a car accident that killed his girlfriend, leaving him with their one-month-old son. Devastated by this situation, he decides to commit suicide. They found him apparently dead, hanged on the stairs of his house. Against all odds, Patrick makes it out of the hospital alive. He then decides to live life to the fullest, "because you only live once." See out how he ended up finding the Faith and how the Lord healed him of all his wounds.

Denis Nuwagaba

Discover the story of Denis. Born in Uganda, Denis grew up in a family of faith. When he began school, his classmates started to make fun of him because he was short. From that moment on, Denis began to think that God didn't care that they made fun of him, that he meant nothing to God, and that we wasn’t worthy of God’s love. But a retreat would change his life, making Denis realize that God loves him and loves him personally. Get the whole story in “Changing Tracks.”

Niamh Palmer

Niamh Palmer is a young Irish woman who was deeply wounded by the death of her father. During her teenage years, she gained the reputation of being the life of the party. To maintain her fame, she had to be the girl who wore the most make-up, spent the most money on clothes, drank the most, danced the most, had the most boyfriends... In short, she had to be very worldly and very superficial. But this life emptied her and broke her interiorly. She began to grow closer to God thanks to her participation in a summer camp. Shortly after, at a Youth 2000 conference, she ended up going to confession. But her true conversion took place when she saw a documentary about a nun who died in an earthquake in Ecuador. It was Sister Clare Crockett. Learn Niamh’s story on Changing Tracks.

Conor Mc Namee

Conor Mc Namee, from Ireland, entered the world of music, parties, alcohol, girls and drugs at a very young age. All he wanted in his life was to succeed as a musician: producing music and giving concerts. When he developed celiac disease, he sought health in reiki and ended up dabbling seriously with black magic. Find out how the Lord pulls him out of this mire of sin in Changing Tracks.

Theresa Traynor

Later, her problems are amplified by uncontrolled alcohol consumption. Theresa lives a double life, because on Sundays she still goes to Mass, but she lives in sin. She tries to find a solution to this situation by moving to Italy, but once there everything gets worse instead of better. Thanks to a providential visit to the Cenacolo Community Theresa discovers "true joy.” Learn her whole story in “Changing Tracks.”
